Queering the Map of Edinburgh
For LGBT+ History Month 2019, we held a workshop in the City Art Centre Edinburgh, where we discussed the city from a queer perspective. From the discussions and artwork I designed a printed map and an interactive online version. This project is a collaboration between LGBT Health and Wellbeing, Scotland’s Urban Past, Scottish Civic Trust, and Our Story Scotland.
Around the Clock
In collaboration with Jasmine Cole, for The Day-Light Group's 'Around the Clock' events (2014-16) To celebrate the restoration of the local Clock Tower, we worked with various community groups including the Women's Institute, Traveller Women's Group, primary and secondary schools, nursery, and local artists, to create animated projections that highlighted three different parts of the building.
As part of The Day-Light Group's 'Around the Clock' project, myself and Jasmine Cole ran an after school animation club at St Day primary school. (2015)
Paper Scissors Stone
In collaboration with Jasmine Cole for The Day-Light Group's 'Paper Scissors Stone' event (2013) Working with community groups, primary and nursery school children, local artists and drop-in workshops, we created animated projections about the history of St Day's semi-derelict Old Church. These were projected onto the front of the building as part of a celebratory event.
